Background on my problem:

1. My oven started beeping for no reason.
2. I was told to replace the Electronic Range Control part #WB27K5344.
3. I received a GE replacement part #2084360010 (model#'s 164D5063P004, and WB27T10492).
4. I received the part but it did not include a way to conect the control panel 14 point ribbon to the Electronic Range Control.
5. Do I need to replace the entire control panel or can I get a connection for the ribbon?
6. If I do buy a new control panel will it come with the ribbon connector?

Thank You for your help! Jim

Jim,

The model number as well as the original ERC part number you posted do not come up. Verify and repost them.

The ERC with the WB27T10492 part number designed to use without a separate key panel. It has buttons on the front and should have a glued face plate.

Gene.
