Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

When I turn on the oven, both the broiler and the bake element come on the bread gets burned, my understanding is that just the bake element should come on when you want to bake

Does the Broil element turn red during the Baking after the oven preheated?

Yes both elements cycle on and off at the same time and are glowing red

You may want to check for continuity the Broil switch (#35 on the diagram) and the oven selector switch (#11 on the diagram).
