Default bake element does not get hot
Model Number: mer5730aaa   Brand: Maytag   Age: 5 - 10 years   

The bake element did not work at all, the broil element got warm
After replacing the bake element only. The broil element works fine and the bake element does not get warm at all.

If there is nothing wrong with the wires then the problem is a bad control board.

- The part number for the control board is AP204808

Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag range Model MER5730AAA
