how i can test a range control board to be sure thats it's damage i got and code that's said pf 5ab

model # 66595152300 i try that and still doing the same THING code pf 5a6 E6 what i didn't do was unpluged the unit and left them for a 30 minutes i gonna try that, can i turn off the braker let me know thanks

pf is usually power failure.
If "PF" appears at any other time, a power failure occurred. To
remove "PF" and to reset the clock, press STOP/CLEAR.

Unplug the unit for half an hour or so to see if it will reset.
If not try to get into the diagnostics so you can see if there is a stored
error code

It does sound like the control board is toast since you cannot reset the error.

You may want to try the following just in case the keypad is not entering the reset keystrokes but this is a long shot.
Connector Cleaning / Checking
Unplug the unit
Open it up
Remove the ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board at the control board.
Clean the edge connector.
If it is the type where there is not a connector just the insulation is removed, it can be cleaned with a pencil eraser. Do not use an ink eraser as it is too abrasive.
Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for hairline cracks. A magnifying glass helps here.
Would not hurt to clean the connector on the board. Use electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Be gentle and do not reconnect till all the solvent evaporates.
Reconnect everything and give it a try.

I did look up the board at the Sears parts site 8524212, they want $297.32.
When I cross reference it to the AppliancePartsPros site they want $124.13.
