Model Number: JSP34WOW1WW Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
What could cause the oven door to go into lock mode on it's own. This occurs when oven is off or when baking (which shuts the oven off). It really does not even lock, just makes the noise that it is trying. I have ran the self cleaning mode a couple of times and it seems to work fine. Before I go through the expense of replacing control boards I was wanting some advice. By the way, all other functions work and no error codes.
Thanks, Greg |

Greg,
Most likely the problem is a bad Electronic Range Control (ERC). - The part number for the ERC is AP2633034 Here are the break down diagrams for the GE range Model JSP34WW1WW Gene.
