I ran the cleaning cycle on the lower oven and when done it started to beep and code F1-4 was displayed. The upper oven door unlocked but the lower oven door did not.

This also happened the last time the lower oven cleaning cycle was run. We called the service tech and he said the lower oven temperature sensor was bad. He replaced it and the lower oven worked fine.

This time I measured the lower sensor and it was bad again. It measured 7 Kohm while a good sensor will measure 1.1 Kohm.

Is the high cleaning temperature damaging the sensor? The upper oven runs the cleaning cycle with no problem. Does maytag have a problem with their temperature sensors?
