Oven Won't Light
Model Number: SF365BEPN3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
MODEL NUMBER SF365BEPN3 (WHIRLPOOL GAS RANGE)
MY BURNERS WORK MY BROILER WORKS, BUT THE OVEN WILL NOT COME ON UNLESS I TAP ON THE BURNER VALVE LOCATED UNDERNEATH...  NOW I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED THE BURNER VALVE THINKING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM BUT ITS STILL DOING THE SAME THING . PLEASE HELP IF IT IS ANYTHING I COULD FIX MYSELF THAT WOULD BE GREAT !!!!!  BECAUSE I CANNOT AFFORD A TECHNICIAN .Ads By Google Related Models

Most likely your glow ignitor is bad. Ignitor must give the safety valve approx. 3 to 3.2 amps to it to open the valve. It can still glow AND be bad.
