Installing Oven Door Switch
Model Number: SVD48600W Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
I believe that I need to install an oven/door switch to enable the self-clean function to work. How do I get at this switch (AP366943 - received part number ASP2831-103 208434)? Can anybody tell me how to remove old switch and install the new one? Help please - much appreciated.

if you open the door there are 4 screws on the top of the opening which face out, above those but facing down to the floor there are 4 more screws, take those out and you will be able to jiggle the entire face off of the oven giving you easy access to that part.
