ge gas cooktop one burner will not ignite
Model Number: JGP932BEC2BB Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
One burner will not light with the electronic igniter. (When knob is turned to ignite there is no clicking sound.) I can ignite this burner if I turn on gas and turn another burner knob to ignite. I have switched the ceramic igniter from the non-functioning burner to another and it works. Help in further trouble shooting is much appreciated. Also comments on difficulty in correction of possible problems would be of help. (may have to fork out for service repair??) Thanks!

Sounds like the switch that controls that burner has gone bad. Not uncommon. Here is the part# that will fix the problem---->AP3783914
