Model Number: JTP15BW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
The replacement board has different relays than the original. L1A and L1B which are tied together only have one relay that it will plug into. Broil relay is the closest one. This leave the Bake relay without a wire plugged into it. Can anyone explain how the new controller board should wire up to the older oven?
Thanks, Steve |

Steve,
There is one more terminal for the L1 line on the board. There is only one wire should be plugged into the "Bake" relay (the yellow wire from the "bake" terminal on the old board should go to the "NO" terminal on the relay) while the two wires (the L1 to the "COM" and the violet to the "NO") should go to the "Broil" relay. All other wires from the old board should be connected to the same marked terminals on the new one. The new control board usually comes with the complete installation instructions. Gene.
