I dropped a heavy pan on my GE Smooth Top Cooktop and broke the corner off. I see that I need part # WB61T10121 that will replace glass top assembly. My question is how difficult is it to replace the glass top? The exploded parts view shows a number parts which look to be independent of the cooktop itself. I'm trying to determine if this is going to be simple plug attachment from the old to the new top or something very complicated to do. Since the cooktop is smooth (i.e. touch controls) how can I insure that when I am done the controls will work properly? Does the WB61T10121 contain installation instructions?
