oven igniter

Model Number: MGR5745ADA Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years

my oven will ignite...the igniter glows for oven and gas do not come on..i was told by a tech he thinks the igniter is not glowing bright enough...the broiler ignites and gas flows..it aparently uses the same common gas valve....do you think its worth changing the igniter or junking the oven..its in pretty good overal shape..It may be worth it if only needs igniter ...any suggesstions for best pricing??
