Oven Does Not Ignite
Model Number: JGBP79CEB3CC Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
My GE Profile oven - all functions operating except for bake. The oven does not ignite. I push the right buttons bit nothing happens. I did notice that while pushing the off button (after the baking attempt) it makes a little chirp sound.

Check the oven igniter (#28 on the diagram) for continuity. Replace the igniter if there is an open circuit.
