Old Caloric Prestige Series oven (looks like a double oven, but the broiler and heating element are in a lower section) model RWD212, Serial number 7665712

The oven sometimes works perfectly. Other times it will either not ignite when I turn it on, but I can smell the gas or it will ignite, heat up to the requested temp, but not hold that temperature and will turn off and not re-ignite. Help - we are going to do a kitchen remodel in 6 months and I don't want to buy a new oven prematurely.
