My oven went boom and alot of smoke came out. It tripped the circuit breaker. I turned it back on and got a F1 code. Turned power off overnight and then turned back on next day. Everything works but oven now. I am guessing I need a baking element. What is your opinion?

Looks like you have a ES300 control board, F1 is a control board error.

First you have to determine what caused the boom.

Sounds like one of the elements blew and there is a good possibility that it also took out the control board.

After I waited a day before turning the power back on, the f1 beeping is no longer there. The clock works, the bake button works and you can adjust the temp. but the bake element does not come on. The broil button does not work at all. What I found in the parts section is clock/timer control. Is this what I need?
