gas oven pop sound
 

I have a magic chef gas range model 3458kvw; when the oven is on it makes a pop sound every 5 or 10 seconds and it takes a long time to reach desired temperature; I want to fix it; what can i do to repair it

How long time takes to light up the burner since you turn the control ON?

If it takes more than 70 seconds, replace the oven igniter (#9 on the diagram).

Remove the Bake burner and check for a burned through holes. Make sure all fire holes are clean.
