Default Maintenance question
Model Number: GCV36G   Brand: Thermador   Age: More than 10 years

There's a smell coming from under the range. It's got a pop-up vent and I think it's the grease trap. If that's what it is- I'd like to learn how to clean out it out (mod #CV2236).

Thanks,
Bart

Hi Bart,

Lift the stove top panel and check for grease inside.

You can remove the screens from the vent and clean them, using warm soapy water.

Gene.
