My oven is 5 years old. My wife runs a self clean a couple of days after New Years each year. So she has done this 5 times, not too excessive IMHO. I googled the problem and found this site which seems to suggest that this is a common occurence with this generation of double wall ovens. I went on to read that it was probably the thermo fuse. I am not too handy so I called the repair man but wanted to educate myslef so he couldn't take advantage of our ignorance. He came in and said the problem is the Micro Computer. I said my research suggested it would be the thermo fuse and he said no it's the computer. Does this sound legit to you? Rather aggravated since this is costing me $550. ($200 for the computer, $70 just to some look at it. $100 to pull the oven out - though I would think that is included in labor but no that's a separate charge of $145. Your thoughts are appreciated.
