On one of my gas range top burners, the ignition sparker stays on; keeps sparking in the off position. What do I need to do to fix?

I have a similar problem. All 4 of my burners spark, even when none of them is turned on. They just start sparking spontaneously, and the only way to stop them is to unplug the stove. I took all the wires off of all 4 valve switches, and it still sparks. Please help!
