Question Oven to long to heat up
Model Number: KEDC205YBL   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: 5 - 10 years

The oven has a new element and sensor.
It takes 45minutes to heat up to 350. What else is a probable cause ?

No it never went red at all. 45 mins to get to 350 seems to long for me so I changed the element and sensor. no luck it did the same.

Hi Allan.

Most likely the problem is a bad electronic control board, but before you replace it I would recommend to perform the troubleshooting as described in the tech sheets (page 2).

- The part number for the control board is AP3025959

Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid range Model KEDC205YBL0

Gene.
