I just ordered a shiny new cooktop from you for our Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 gas range. When it arrives in a few days, I will want to replace our old beat up one. My question is whether I can reasonable replace it myself or whether I should just call a local repair person.

It is possible that the cooktop just pops off, but I don't want to apply that much force unless I am sure I am heading in the right direction. Thanks!
