I have a Maytag gas oven (slide in). Recently, the oven stopped working regularly. The electric coil at the top of the oven heats up, but the gas does not start, so it can take 45 min. to reach the proper temperature. The broiler seems to work, and all the burners are working, so I know gas is getting to the range. I've done some web searching and it seems like it might be the igniter. Does this make sense? If so, is it very difficult to replace?
