Model Number: JBP85BB4BB Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
We performed the self-cleaning cycle on the stove and soon after it started, the thermal dual pane glass piece shattered. I cannot afford to have someone replace it because I am raising 3 kids and am not getting child support, etc. I am pretty handy and have worked on appliances before just not stoves. I need to know if this is something I can replace. I have the part I need but am wondering if there are other parts associated with the replacement that I may need, seal, nuts, bolts, designer screwdriver. Also, do I really have to take the door off to replace, it doesn't seem like I would but I don't know. Thank you anyone for any input you can share. Mike
