Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

The door will not stay closed and the light stays on. I replaced the hinges and it worked fine for about 3 weeks. Now it stays open even farther and makes a click noise when you open it, like it gets stuck and then clicks over whatever was holding it. Only on the left side. I took the front panel off so I could watch it work and it seems to work fine, except it doesn't close. What else could it be?

Only thing I can think of is perhaps the locking device is not staying where it should.

Could be the hinge you received is gone again.
Remove them and inspect them.
