Model Number: 302.75980890 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
Gas stove with electronic control.
Two examples of my faulty broiler. First, it kicked from low to high on its own. Turning broiler to OFF on Control ERC did not shut it down. I had to unplug the stove. Second, during BAKE mode the broiler kicked ON and again would not shut off with Control ERC. I had to unplug the unit. I ordered a new Control ERC and installed it. EZ to do. I did this assuming the BROILER function had broken on my existing Control. I was getting fire, so I figured the Ignitor is fine. Well, it did the same kick to HIGH and would not respond to a push of the OFF button still. Had to unplug the unit. So I now have a new Control ERC installed. Should I replace the Iignitor or is there a another part(sensor) I'm not aware of? Thanks Ads By Google Related Models |
