Magic Chef lights slowly
Model Number: RB17AG-2A-'1B53A' Brand: Magic Chef Age: More than 10 years
The oven lights very slowly. The igniter comes on immediately and is very bright, but the gas valve does not come on for 5 to 10 minutes. Occasionally, there is a fluttering of the gas when it lights, I think due to partially open gas valve. Once lit, the oven tends to usually relight on it's own. If I reach behind the oven and gently tap the gas valve with a hammer it will light immediately.
I replaced the gas valve one year ago and it helped somewhat, but is now acting up again in the same manner. Model Number: RB17AG-2A-'iB53A' Ser #: DH30701037 Thanks, Tipp Ads By Google Related Models
