Model Number: JHP67G OH AD Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
The problem I'm having is with the broiler in the lower oven of our GE Spacemaker Cooking Center. One area on the old broiler element turned red and then the element broke in two at that spot. I have replaced the element but the new element does not get hot. Every thing else is working fine on both ovens and the stove top.
I'm not sure what to do next. I don't have a service manual for the unit and I haven't figured out how to get access to the control panel. Would greatly appreciate a little help. The model number on the metal tag inside the oven is J HP67G OH AD. This model number does not show up on this site and returns zero hits on Google. Serial number is GS280818M.
