GE wall oven JKT13GT1BB
Model Number: JKT13GT1BB Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows the proper resistance for the broil element. Mine measures 171 ohms. Is this OK?

Cannot find any info on this unit.
171 ohms seems very high as this would work out to a 337 watt element. Are you sue it is not 17.1 ohms. If your manual gives the elements wattage you can figure out the resistance R = V2/P Resistance = voltage squared divided by the wattage.
