I have notice the wire (harness) of the one of the burner were burn up, and i have replaced it along with the burner itself. Last week, my wife was cooking when she noticed a big flash under the glass and the burner stop working.
The wires were burn up again, and the burner delimiter was damaged.

My question is: What might be the reason for the wires to burn up? What does control the voltage that goes through the wires to the burner?

It's hard to say what cause it. It can be a wrong size of the wire, a loose connection, a short in the heating element or somewhere else, etc. Voltage controls by infinite switch.

Gene.
