I have -2 year old Frigidaire electric single wall oven that the door's right hinge loosed itself as a washer fell out on the floor. The owners manual states to take the door off you must engage a lever hook to the hinge and pull the door away. The hinge tries to to crush itself if you open the door too far. I'm fearful of breaking something else in taking the door off. AND when I get the door off, is there any way to fix what came loose inside the slot for the hinge? Thank you for any help you can give.

Sounds like something has come loose and the hinge receiver is twisting.
Cannot see why yhis would not be repairable but it will involve a fair amount of work.

Odds are that you will have to pull the oven so that you can get at the hinge receiver. You could leave the door on till it is removed from the cabinetry.
Then perhaps you can release the hinge without fear of breaking something.
