MY OVEN WILL NOT PREHEAT, IT TAKES I HOUR TO REACH 350 AND WHEN IT DOES IT DOES NOT FEEL LIKE 350,IT WORKED FINE TILL I SELF CLEANED IT AFTER THANKSGIVING NOW I AM HAVING A PROBLEM IT SEEMS LIKE THE BOTTOM ELEMENT IS NOT GETTING HOT, I DID MOVE THIS TO CLEAN UP THE ASH AFTER SELF CLEAN WAS DONE,i HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF OVENS. HELP is needed. JIll

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for General Electric RB790SH1SA Electric range | AppliancePartsPros.com

Unplug the unit.
Undo the screws that hold the element to the ovens back wall.
Gently pull the element forward. Note you do not want to pull the wires off the element.
Remove the wires from the element and then check the element with a meter, should be around 10 ohms. If open (infinite ohms) replace the element.
It is a good idea to clip something (clothes pin etc.) onto the wires so they cannot disappear into the back of the unit.

If the element check's good, you would have to replace the clock control board. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

Thanks for the help;the problem was the bake element replaced and working fine .Jill
