The baking element blew out, leaving a 2 inch opening on the coil. I replace the element but now find neither the baking or broil elements work. Everything else is fine. Could the thermal limit switch be the culprit?

According to the wiring diagram there is no thermal limit switches or any other safety devices. Very likely the blown out Bake element caused damage to the control board (aka a clock).
