Convert Electronic Oven to Manual???
Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
My GE Profile Performance oven has been displaying F-7 error code off and on...now it seems to have quit working altogether. Our local GE authorized repair shop (in Guatemala) says the necessary replacements are no longer available and I am not getting much help from GE USA in finding out which parts I would need to buy to bring to Guatemala to have installed here. Now this is the question....my husband is totally fed up with the run-around we are getting and thinks he can convert the electronic panel to a standard manually operated on-off and temperature control. We don't need the bells and whistles. Is this at all possible????
