The ventilation raises up from the counter top but does not stop when it becomes fully raised, and then lowers itself back into the counter top, and repeats te cycle. There is nothing ostructing its movement. The only way I can stop it is to unplug it. Any ideas what is faulty?

I cannot find info on this unit so can only offer general help.
Usually there is a switch which tells the unit that it is at the up position, this switch may be toast (contacts welded together etc.) or it is not being actuated.
Sometimes they use two switches one for home position and one for up position. |
