I have a Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 oven that recently died on me. When the oven was new, if you pressed bake then 350 and start, the oven would start the initial countdown at 10 minutes for warm up. Now if you attempt to press any temperature and press start, the LED screen starts a countdown of 12 minutes then flashes 1.
There are no error codes of two or four digits, just a flash of 1. and the countdown continues with no ignition of the broil of convection burners. I have disconnected the power supply in an attempt to reset any electrical or computer gliches. My belief would be to replace the ERC but I would like professional assistance before a purchase of $150+.
