Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

ok guys, this is funny. I was cleaning the stove real quick when i stupidly raised the bake element on the bottom and it damn shorted to the inner stove chassis.

well needless to say I popped a 60 amp fuse at the box (old building/condo).
Replaced the fuse, bake element but when I check the wires at the block behind the stove, between neutral and red it is open....good... but between neutral and black I see about 328 ohms.

is that right?

You did not say what the problem is.
One side of the line (120 volts) is used to run the timer, lights etc so it is normal to see a resistance on one side and not the other.
