While the oven was in use I heard a loud pop. The oven displayed a F1 error code. After clearing the error code by pressing and holding the Clear/Stop button. My oven will not heat=up, neither element will heat-up.
Could it be my tempature Probe?

Default F1 code

F1 - Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced.
This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

I feel for you but all I can offer is to keep your feet on the ground because you may be in for the run around of your life.

My Kenmore Elite double wall ovens are only 5 years old, cost about 3,000.00 and have not worked since last spring.

The part that I need to repair them costs about $200.00 and is manufactured by GE....unfortunately, they have discontinued the part and cannot offer anything compatible.....and after all of these months of research, I am finding out that this is a typical scenario.

These companies are doing it all the time in an effort to have you simply plunk down another $3 grand, every five years. It is disgraceful! And to make matters worse, Sears actually offered me a 10 PERCENT DISCOUNT ON A NEW SET OF DOUBLE OVENS! How insulting!!

I had been a customer of theirs since 1980...bought every major appliance from them including my last purchase in 2003 totally over $10,000.00
Sears and GE have backed me into a corner with no other recourse then to purchase and finance another set of ovens. I am soooo frustrated and angry and my hope for you is that my experience is one that you won't have to duplicate.

Good Luck......My new ovens will probably be a Miele or what ever manufacturer will offer me a 10yr warranty......as long as it dosen't put a single penny into the wallet belonging to Sears and GE I am in!!
