Model Number: JTP 18BA2BB Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
When I turn the oven to preheat to 400 degrees (or any other setting) it starts to heat, never reaches the desired temp, then stops about 100-150 degrees less than selected. Have checked power to the oven with a load and power is fine. I'm trying to find t/s procedures (ie. resistance values of components, thermocouple, sensor, etc) before I change a part that may be damaged by an existing bad component. In looking at your existing questions, it looks like the problem may be the control boars but I would like to be sure. Do you have a p/n for the component as well?
