Hello,

Our Whirlpool oven is a little over 6 years old, and lately when we turn it on it will not rise up to the temperature that's set. I put a thermometer in it and set the oven to 400. It went up to 400, but then dropped down and never made it back up to the set temperature. I think it's a bad thermostat but wanted to make sure before I bought one. My Wife always cooks on Thanksgiving and since it's 3 days away, I really need to get his fixed. Am I on the right track?

Please let me know as soon as possible.

Thanks...David Lee

I am having the same problem with my Whirlpool GS445LEMSO oven. It heats fine at temps over 400. But anything under 400 it stops heating and drops to room temp. I had the "brains" of the oven replaced (over $200), and it still doesn't work. I'm wondering if it's the sensor, since it seems to be fine over 400 degrees.
Did you ever solve your problem?
Jen
