Model Number: JES9800AAW Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
I am trying to replace the dual infinite switch on the left side of my Jenn-Air range with part No. 12002125, which has different wiring than the original.
From the accompanying instructions, I can see where to plug all the wires except for one, a blue wire. In the original switch, the blue wire plugs into the position in the lower left corner (if you're facing the back of the switch). This position has no name on it. It's next to the L2, the lower right position. Can anybody help? Ads By Google Related Models |

This is very strange because there is no Blue wires shown on the Wiring diagram for this model either. Try to trace this wire to find where it goes.
Gene.

I can't tell where the wire ends up. It plugs into another set of wires, and I don't see a blue one among them. Here's my question. Since I have six wires, and the new switch has only five connection positions, would I cause any problems if I plugged in all of the other wires and left the blue wire free? |
