Model Number: JGSP48SH2SS Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a GE Profile JGSP48SH2SS. The stove side functions perfectly, but the oven side of things does not. When baking, it takes about 20 minutes to reach 350 degree's. And during this time, it emits a strong smell of natural gas. Once it's reach its temperature, the odor eventually goes away, and it cooks fine. I've already replaced a ignitor on it about a year ago, but it did not make a difference. The only other thing I can think is there is a problem with the valve. Does anyone know if I'm headed in the right direction?
