Initially, gas delayed igniting although igniter glowed red. Caused a minor "boom" when it did ignite but only occurred during initial starting of oven and did not occur later in the bake cycle. Last time oven worked it got to 300 degrees then died - no glow in igniter anymore. Replaced igniter but still did not glow. As all electric displys worked did experiment to test sensor. Turned oven on to bake and control showed initial temp of 100 degrees and bake cycle on. Put pot of boiling water in oven to watch temperature display. It stayed at 100 although controls appear to work. Asume a bad sensor as temp did not change. Is this a valid test?
