question:
All the LED display lamps on the control panel are so dim they can hardly be seen. Is this a simple fix as adjust or replace power supply or more serious and expensive, replace whole control panel.

Most likely the problem is a bad control board aka a clock/timer. You have to open the control panel to access the part.
