Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

I am having granite counters put in Friday and am removing the old counter tops. I need to remove the Whirlpool cooktop. I know how to turn off the gas, remove the gas line and unplug the unit. I can't find any brackets or clamps underneath it to unscrew so I can lift the cooktop out of it's space. Is there anything holding it in place? Should I get a putty knife and go around the edge in case there was any clear caulking or sometype of glue put down? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Also if you go to the Whirlpool sie under Owners Center/ Manuals & Literature, you may find the installation instructions which would help you uninstall it.
