oven lock light on

oven lock light on

Model Number: c970-445724 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years

Hi,
My Kenmore slide in range displays a lock symbol in the display and nothing else. range top works fine...but the oven does not function. I tried unpluging the stove for a while to see if it would reset but no luck. The model number is canadian if that helps.
