Oven will not heat. We were getting error codes F02 at random. Recently, during baking the oven temp went up to the max by itself and the door locked. We unlocked by turning off the breaker overnight. We also replaced the control unit. The controls work but the oven will not heat.

Here is your tech sheet

Sounds like the unit had a thermal run away.
Perhaps the thermal fuse is blown.

:) Thank you! You have been very helpful. We are pulling the oven to check the fuse. Hopefully we can order the part and be back in business before Thanksgiving.

OK, now we have a new problem. The bake and broil does not heat at all. Elements tested OK. The oven will work on Convection.

See the attachment for the tech sheet, the old source is no longer available.

Here are our parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KDRP407HSS4 RANGE-DUAL FUEL | AppliancePartsPros.com

Looking at the wiring diagram I would say that your control board is shot.
Since the convection works correctly you know that power to the unit and it's temperature control is OK. Also that the thermal fuse is OK so that leaves the board.
Before replacing it I would check that all the wiring to the elements is OK.

Thanks, we were afraid that I was the control board. This is the second time it has gone bad. The oven is only 5 or 6 years old.

The website link to your parts for this Control Panel is broken.

I can't find the part for the control board in any of the diagrams. And the links to your parts pages do not work.

Cannot explain why the link does not work. I just tried it (open in new tab) and it worked for me.
Note: I use Firefox.
Perhaps your net security settings are too high.

You could go to the AppliancePartspros parts website and just enter in your model number.
