Model Number: JGBP36 Brand: GE Age: Less than 1 year
I recently converted my new GE gas range to propane. Conversion went well and everything works fine.
I have been using the range, top burners and oven no for weeks, but I have always noticed that the oven has a strong smell. I have adjusted the oven flame to a slight yellow tip as is recomended by GE. But we still have the strong smell, that at time make your eyes water. I always need to use the vent when in use. Is this normal? Thank you! Ads By Google Related Models |

I recommend that you call your propane supplier and have and schedule a visit with a qualified service technician who has the training and experience to diaonose and remedy the issue.
I would turnm off the stove and not use it until such time. Quote:
