I have a Thermadore Double Oven, it is one of the "Professional" models. It is electric, and on top of it is 6 gas burners and a griddle. The issue is with my oven.

I cleaned it (the self cleaner had stopped working) and even though I gently lifted up the element to get under it, it appeared to get shorted.

So my husband replaced the element, and now when you turn it on, it goes straight to 500 degrees, you have to unplug it to get it to turn off.

From other posts, I think it is the control board. Can someone confirm?

Thank you!
