I'm attempting to re-install door trim on our oven but I wasn't involved in the removal process.

I'm not sure if I should be attempting to re-install the trim with the door on or off of the oven.

I'm also not sure of the process to re-install the trim (bottom first, then the sides or all at once then install...

Before I launch the oven into the street could someone please offer some helpful adivse???

This is almost like talking to myself but wanted to post this in case anyone else finds it useful.
We continually attempted to install the glass into the corners of the side trim but this didn't work but was great for getting your blood pressure and your heart rate up
The side trim tabs will fit into your existing side structure, the glass will then rest into the slots on the bottom trim and on top of the side pieces of trim - not inside.
Now our oven works but not the self cleaning function. We now receive the F5 E1 code and the door doesn't latch when we attempt to self clean. I don't think my ancestors had the self cleaning functions so its time to get our hands dirty and clean ourselves or probably start replacing relays - that'll be a differant thread!

I cannot find any info on the given model number Whirlpool usually have 2 and often 3 letters at the start. Unit does not even come up on the Whirlpool site and they are pretty good.
