Cooking dinner last night and large pan of lasagna (in Pyrex) exploded and then shattered the inside glass of the oven door. In addition to the incredibly difficult mess to clean up, the oven door diagrams online leave a lot to be desired in determining what the actual replacement part number is and how to reverese engineer the door to replace it!!! I have now repaired (or replaced) all four of the original appliances we bought when the house was built 5 years ago. Q: Is this a string of bad luck or are Kenmores no longer the appliances they used to be?
Q: How do I fix the interior glass of the oven door?? What is the part number? Husband is deployed and I have beeen successful thus far installing new micro-hood and fixing dishwasher... would like to attempt a repair myself before having to call in the service guys. Thank you!!
